Founded in 1998, we are a licensed child care center and a quality preschool facility. We care for children ages six weeks to 12 years of age. We provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack to all children.
Mission Statement: At Wee Care Christian Children's Center we are committed to making each child and his/her family feel comfortable and welcome each day. We want your child to adjust to his/her new "home away from home" and become one of the group quickly and we will do what we can to ease this transition.
We want Wee Care Christian Children's Center to be a place your child is happy to be at and where he/she feels special, welcome, safe and loved.
We are a Great Start to Quality 4 star center! This means that we have gone through the lengthy process of having our center evaluated and rated, to better serve families. We have gone well above and beyond the day care licensing standards so that we can provide your child with a highest quality program possible.
We are members of a non-profit organization called Quality Child Care Initiative. This group volunteers its time to help other centers improve the quality of the care they are providing to children through a mentoring process. We, ourselves, have gone through this process and are now members of this group as a quality center.
For the 2020-2021 school year, we have been awarded a Great Start Readiness 4 year old preschool program. This will be our 6th year in a row with a GSRP program! There are full and partial scholarships available to eligible families. If you are interested, please call for more information. We also have a tab listed above titled "GSRP" with more information available.
We also accept DHS payments from the State of Michigan for eligible families.
